LAS VEGAS (AP) — At least eight suspects were detained in Las Vegas after a fight involving dozens of people broke out downtown following the 36th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade.

Police said they had the situation under control shortly after a series of altercations in downtown Las Vegas about 4 p.m. Monday.

The Las Vegas Sun reported no arrests had been made and no major injuries were reported but medical personnel were requested for one man who was apparently punched in the lip.
