Parking Perk For Electric Cars Going Away In January

Drivers of electric cars will have to pay to park in garages and at street meters in Las Vegas, effective January 1.

A state law exempted electric cars from parking fees is going away.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that even though free parking will no longer be available, electric vehicles can still power up for no cost at city-owned charging stations.
