Clark County health officials have reported the first death related to flu this year.
The Southern Nevada Health District said Monday a child in the 0-4 age group died as a result of flu.
As of Nov. 11, there were 78 confirmed flu cases reported to the health district and around 43 percent of emergency room visits for flu have been children 4 and under.
