The City of Reno’s Youth and Senior Services Manager, Darryl Feemster, has died.
Feemster passed away Sunday morning after suffering a stroke, according to his family.
As a well-known children’s advocate, he worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and, for many years, was involved with causes affecting Reno-area children and seniors.

The 55-year-old Reno native was also a longtime member of the Reno-Sparks NAACP.
