Maintenance Worker Says He Told Dispatchers To Call Police Before Shooting

A Mandalay Bay hotel maintenance worker says he told hotel dispatchers to call police BEFORE Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32 nd floor.

Stephen Schuck is a building engineer at Mandalay Bay hotel-casino. Schuck said in an interview with NBC News that he had been called to check on an exit door alarm and was walking down the hallway when he started to hear gunshots.

He then said he saw security guard Jesus Campos tell him to take cover. He said he reported the shooting on his radio, telling a dispatcher to call the police and that someone was firing a rifle.

Audio recordings made public by MGM Resorts International, which owns Mandalay Bay, confirm Schuck’s story.

In light of this new information, a 21-year-old woman who was injured in the attack is suing MGM.
