UNR Students Stay At Casino During Construction Delay

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Hundreds of University of Nevada, Reno students are living at a casino or elsewhere while crews finish construction on the apartment complex they are supposed to have already moved into.

The complex called Identity Reno gave the students two alternative living options: Finding their own place plus a $200 per day gift card or staying at Circus Circus in downtown Reno for free, plus a $100 per day gift card.

Identity Reno was supposed to be completed by Aug. 24, but that date has been pushed back weeks depending on which floor the student lives on. Tenants were informed earlier this week that move-in was pushed back even further than they were initially told.
