Top GOP Assemblyman To Take Job At Economic Development Agency

The Nevada Assembly’s top Republican is stepping down to take a new position with the state’s economic development agency. 

The Nevada Independent reports Paul Anderson made the announcement Thursday morning that his resignation will take effect Friday.  

At first, Anderson will work with Steve Hill, who’s currently serving as executive director at the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

Hill is expected to take a new job at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, at which time Anderson will replace him.
