Raiders Looking At Extending Time In Oakland

The Raiders are looking at the possibility of staying in Oakland a bit longer.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Monday night the team’s president is talking with the city about extending the Raiders’ lease at Oakland Alameda County Coliseum through the 2020 season. The current lease runs through 2018.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak isn’t concerned about the revelation.  He says the Raiders are “just trying to be cautious because it’s such a tight timeline,” referring to the construction of a $1.9 billion, 65,000-seat domed football stadium in Las Vegas.
