The fight over distributing recreational marijuana between Nevada tax authorities and liquor distributors is not over.

The Nevada Independent reports the state Supreme Court will look into the conflict next.

Oral arguments were scheduled for Wednesday, but the trade group Independent Alcohol Distributors of Nevada decided to back out of its appeal in favor of an emergency injunction request to stop licensing of marijuana companies to transport the drug.

The dispute has been ongoing since March.

Liquor suppliers were given priority for marijuana licenses under the condition that they sufficiently meet demand.
