The latest effort to repeal President Barack Obama’s signature health care law is dead in the water.
Republican Senate leaders decided today to not hold a vote on the GOP’s latest attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Governor Brian Sandoval had joined a group of 11 bipartisan governors in asking the senate to oppose the bill that had Nevada Senator Dean Heller’s name on it.

Rejection became all but inevitable Monday after Main GOP Senator Susan Collins announced she opposed the legislation. She joined Republican Senators John McCain of Arizona, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz from Texas. The ACLU estimated that Nevada stood to lose over $1 billion if the legislation had passed.
