Organizers of the Electric Daisy Carnival had big news today as they announced the festival date for 2018 has been moved to May 18-20.
The move is in part due to the extreme heat this summer’s EDC attendees endured in June during some of Las Vegas’ hottest days.
Also, for the first time in the event’s history, EDC will allow people to camp on site at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

People will be able to rent air-conditioned tents or rent or bring their own RV.
Festival organizers said this was to help ease some of the traffic concerns of having the 400,000 people on the roads in the early morning when the festival gets out.
