Marijuana lounges will be a major discussion in today’s Clark County Commission meeting.
The commissioners will discuss whether Nevada’s Clark County should be the first local government in the country to license and regulate marijuana consumption lounges.
This comes one week after lawyers for the state Legislature issued an opinion saying that nothing in state law prohibits local governments from allowing pot consumption in businesses such as lounges and cafes.

In other words, it’s not illegal by state standards.
The issue of where tourists can legally consume recreational marijuana has come to light since casinos have banned its use on their property.
