CCSD Unhappy With Distribution Of Marijuana Taxes

Marijuana sales are expected to bring in $40 million in taxes for schools over the next two years.

However, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the Clark County School District isn’t happy with the way the money is being distributed.

The tax revenue will be filtering through the Distributive School Account, which divvies up the money to schools throughout the state using a complex formula.
