Vehicle Crashes, Fatalities Up In Clark County

Vehicle crashes and fatalities were up in Clark County and across the state for the first half of 2017.

The Nevada Department of Transportation released figures Thursday that report 106 crashes in Clark County between January 1 and June 26, and 111 traffic-related fatalities.

That’s more than an 8 percent increase from the same time last year. Across Nevada, 140 crashes were reported so far this year and 148 traffic fatalities. Last year there were 143 traffic fatalities in Nevada.
