Seroka, Fiore Among New Faces At Las Vegas City Hall

The City of Las Vegas will have some new faces around city hall this week.

After the city election last month, Las Vegas voters elected Air Force Veteran Steve Seroka for Ward 2 and former state Assemblywoman Michele Fiore for Ward 6. Seroka ousted incumbent Bob Beers for Ward 2, while Fiore replaces Steve Ross who was term-limited.

The two will be sworn into office Wednesday morning. Seroka and Fiore join Lois Tarkanian, Ricki Barlow, Bob Coffin, Stavros Anthony and Mayor Carolyn Goodman on the council.

Municipal judge-elect Cara Campbell will also be sworn in Wednesday morning, and Scott Adams officially will become city manager, replacing Betsy Fretwell, who is retiring.
