CCSD Trustee Accuses Superintendent Of Repeating Exaggerated Reports

A Clark County School District trustee is fighting back against restrictions placed on him earlier this year by Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reportsTrustee Kevin Child sent a cease-and-desist letter to Skorkowsky, marking the latest friction between Child and the School District.

Child was restricted from certain district facilities amid accusations that he has created a hostile work environment for some employees. The latest letter, which was sent through an attorney, accuses Skorkowsky of knowingly repeating exaggerated reports about Child’s behavior.

Skorkowsky had placed certain guidelines on Child, such as using side doors and having an escort out of certain district facilities as well as not calling or texting any CCSD employees directly. The cease-and-desist letter warns that Skorkowsky could face civil liability if he doesn’t stop the accusations.
