Three NBC journalists wrote in a blog post last night that Governor Sandoval is one of three men named as a potential candidate to head the FBI after the Tuesday firing of James Comey.
Chuck Todd, Mark Murray and Carrie Dann said that Sandoval, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and former homeland security secretary Michael Chertoff would face little or no trouble with confirmation.
They didn’t say if they were speculating or posting based on information from sources.
