Nye County Inmate Death Under Investigation

A Nye County Detention Center inmate died last week, and authorities are carrying out an investigation.

Joseph Woolbright died while in police custody after being transported to Desert View Hospital in Pahrump following a medical episode, according to the Pahrump Valley Times.

The 55-year-old had been charged earlier this year under various DUI charges.

Nye County's coroner is carrying out an investigation, and Woolbright's body will be transported to Clark County for an autopsy.
