Nevada Unemployment Dips To 4.7 Percent In April

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada's unemployment rate dipped down to 4.7 percent last month.

The Las Vegas Sun reports the decrease is due in part to large gains in the construction and leisure and hospitality sectors.

The state Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation reported Wednesday that last month's jobless rate was down from 4.8 percent in March.
