A former Democratic state senator has announced he is running for the Clark County Commission.
Justin Jones is the current attorney for the group Save Red Rock and intends to file his candidacy for District F, a seat which is currently held by Susan Brager, a fellow Democrat who will term out in the 2018 election.
Jones has been a county resident since 2001, and said he is concerned about development in the southwest valley which he called “haphazard.” Jones announced Monday that he’s received high-profile Democratic endorsements from U.S. Representative Jacky Rosen, Ruben Kihuen and County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani.
