Fallen Officers Honored In Ceremony

Fallen police officers were honored at a ceremony Thursday night in the northeast valley.

Law enforcement officers saluted and fired guns to as many as 50 fallen southern Nevada law enforcement officers dating back as far as 1866. Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo was one of the speakers at the event held at Police Memorial Park, he was joined by law enforcement leaders from North Las Vegas and around the valley.

New officers from agencies including the Nevada Department of Corrections, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Lincoln County Sheriffs Officer were also honored in addition to those from the valley.
