Two Bills Address Solar Power In Nevada

Two energy measures related to solar power are moving forward in the Nevada Legislature.

The Nevada Independent reports Senate Bill 392 would mandate regulation of community solar garden programs through the state’s Public Utilities Commission.

People who can’t install solar panels at their homes can buy into community solar programs. The bill would require that participants receive credits on their energy bills.
