As Northern NV Snow Melts, Officials Worry About Flooding

Conservation and transportation crews are preparing to temper a 250-percent increase in snowpack anticipated to melt into Northern Nevada rivers and towns in the next three months.

Military and state agency officials huddled at the Capitol Thursday to discuss flood mitigation strategies after of one of Nevada's wettest and most severe winters on record.
