NFL owners have voted to allow the Oakland Raiders to move to Las Vegas.
The 31 to 1 vote was announced just after 11 a.m. Monday.
The owners are in Phoenix to discuss the Raiders move and other topics related to the football league.
The Raiders will play in a $1.9 billion, 65,000-seat stadium to be built on the south end of the Strip. A large portion of the building costs, $750 million, will come from public funds in the form of a hike in hotel room taxes.
The stadium will be shared with UNLV's football team. It isn't expected to be finished until 2020. The Raiders are expected to play in Oakland until then.
