MGM Wins Bid To Build Dubai Resort

MGM has won a bid to build a new resort in Dubai.

CDC Gaming Reports says the Las Vegas-based entertainment company will build a beachfront resort in the United Arab Emirates on some 26 acres of land.

The resort will feature an iteration of the Bellagio, as well as an MGM Hotel and an MGM Residence.

Each hotel will have around 1,000 rooms, and the company says it's the biggest waterfront development in Dubai's history.

Other amenities at the property will include an entertainment venue and fine dining.

No word yet on when the project is scheduled to open, or when construction is to begin.
