Clark County is gearing up for the introduction of recreational marijuana in Nevada by appointing a so-called "Green Ribbon Panel" to explore ordinances and regulations surrounding the drug.
The Las Vegas Sun reports the Clark County Commission appointed the panel, which will assist it in drafting regulations, on Wednesday.
The 12-person group includes members of the Nevada Retail Association, representatives from the gaming community, marijuana cultivators and medical professionals.
