Tarkanian Sues Rosen Over Campaign Ads

Danny Tarkanian, the Republican who ran for Congress and lost in Congressional district 3, is suing the woman who beat him, Democrat Jacky Rosen.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Tarkanian has filed a suit that accuses Rosen of defamation over advertisements she ran during their campaign.

In question are claims made during the ads that Tarkanian bilked seniors out of money while he worked as a representative of a variety of companies passing themselves off as charities but were simply fronts.

Tarkanian won a similar suit regarding claims like the ones made in Rosen's ads back in 2009.

An opponent of his in a state senate race was forced to pay damages after attack ads against Tarkanian made similar allegations.
