The Sunshine Valley plant has been in the works for some time.

Construction on it is supposed to begin by February of 2019.

Under the terms of the power purchasing agreement, the plant is supposed to come online by the start of 2020.

The plant will be located on private land in the Amargosa Valley.

The San Francisco company First Solar is backing the project.
