Details of a plan to keep the NFL's Raiders in the Bay Area and to prevent them from moving to Las Vegas have started to emerge.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports a group fighting to keep the team in northern California has come up with a more than $1.3 billion involving public and private funding.
A sizable chunk would come privately, with $600 million from the group led by former Raider Ronnie Lott that wants to keep the team in California.
The city of Oakland and Alameda County combined would be asked to provide $200 million, with the NFL matching that total.
Current owner Mark Davis would also be asked to kick in some $300 million.
The money together would be used for a new stadium to replace the Oakland Coliseum, where the Raiders currently play.
No word yet on when the proposal will be put to a vote, if at all.
