Debate On Monorail Extension Delayed To December

The debate over whether or not the Las Vegas Monorail should be extended will continue through next month.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the operators of the monorail have asked the Clark County Commission to take up issues regarding the expansion's zoning at a meeting in December, rather than sooner.

The move comes as the Las Vegas Monorail Company and the Southern Nevada Water Authority try to figure out just where the proposed extension would go.

Previous plans had put new monorail infrastructure in the same area as a massive water pipe that serves the Las Vegas Strip.
