The City of Las Vegas has agreed to a new contract with the firefighters' union.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports it's a three year deal with the International Association of Firefighters Local 1285.
The new deal has cost of living adjustments to the tune of a 2.25 percent wage increase.

The new contract will cost the city about $11.5 million.
One of the conditions of the deal is to hire more firefighters and EMTs, with the hope of reducing overtime costs.
The deal runs through June 2019.
