LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas is rolling out a new logo on city vehicles, uniforms and signs that pays homage to Sin City's playful reputation and vintage glamour.
The new logo unveiled at a city council meeting Wednesday features a swooping, retro font accented by colorful, midcentury modern diamonds.
The city says in a statement that the new logo will be used throughout Las Vegas and in marketing materials.

City spokesman David Riggleman says officials wanted a look that highlights the city's excitement and unique history.
Official city clothing and other items that currently feature the city seal will be phased out to feature the new logo.
The city seal will still be used for government documents and other official uses.
