Downtown St. George may be getting some changes.
The St. George Spectrum reports that city's council approved a redevelopment plan that would put new development along Main Street.
Part of the plan calls for a hotel to be built along Main, with apartment buildings going behind it.

Those apartment blocks would have retail and restaurant space on the street front, with living space above.
City planners hope the redevelopment plan will encourage more people to live downtown and to frequent businesses in that area.
