LAS VEGAS (AP) — A naked statue of Donald Trump has appeared in Las Vegas.
The statue of the Republican presidential nominee was spotted Wednesday in a parking lot across the street from where the Life is Beautiful festival is scheduled to take place this weekend.
Henderson artist Joshua Monroe says he expects his statue to remain in place for the duration of the festival.
A spokeswoman for the event says the festival wasn't involved in the placement of the statue and doesn't have the authority to remove it.
Life-size naked Trump statues have made appearances in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle and have since been removed or confiscated by authorities. They were the brainchild of an activist collective called INDECLINE, which has spoken out against the GOP candidate.
