Officials in Nevada are investigating after an inmate died in his cell.
Nye County sheriff's office says deputies were counting heads at the county detention center in Pahrump when they found a male inmate unresponsive on the floor of his cell.
Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue pronounced the inmate dead.

The sheriff's office didn't say how long the man was in prison or what crime he was serving time for. Investigators say the inmate didn't notify staff of health issues or ask for help.
They say no foul play is suspected.
The inmate's name hasn't yet been released.
