A lawsuit alleging that owners of a Las Vegas Strip nightclub secretly filmed female burlesque dancers in their dressing room and distributed the images has passed a preliminary legal hurdle.
A Nevada Supreme Court panel ruled the dispute involving four women doesn't have to go to arbitration, and can be heard by a Clark County District Court judge.
The state high court sent the claims of two other women in the case to an arbitrator.
The performers accuse managers at 1923 Bourbon and Burlesque, a venue at Mandalay Bay, of recording them in their dressing room from April to August 2014.
Attorneys for the company didn't immediately respond Monday to messages.
The filing seeks damages based on allegations of invasion of privacy, negligence, infliction of emotional distress and civil conspiracy.
