County commissioners who must fill vacancies in the Legislature as a stadium plan hangs in the balance are postponing that task amid concerns that they'd violate the Nevada Open Meeting Law.
The Washoe County Commission postponed a Thursday meeting until September 27th. Clark County commissioners canceled a meeting scheduled for today but haven't yet set a new date.
Together, the two commissions are expected to name replacements to three Assembly and two Senate seats.
