UNR: Dorms 121 Percent Over Capacity

RENO, Nev. (AP)  -- University of Nevada, Reno officials say dorms are over capacity as the school expects to have another record year for enrollment.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that more than 1,000 students have already moved in to one of the campus residence halls. Another 2,000 are expected to move in later this week, in time for the fall semester to begin Monday.

Officials say the university's seven residence halls are at 121 percent capacity, with some rooms housing three students, although they've been designed to fit only two students.
