Reno City Council Hires Las Vegas Law Firm To Oversee Clinger Case

The Reno City Council showed concern yesterday about an investigation into sexual harassment complaints against City Manager Andrew Clinger, naming a new law firm to oversee the case.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports council members voted to approve a contract with Las Vegas-based law firm Kamer, Zucker, Abbott to take over the investigation.

Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve says the lawyers’ first task is to determine whether the first investigation was conducted properly. If they decide further investigation is needed, a third party will be tapped for a fact-finding mission.
