A Pahrump hospital has a new owner.
Desert View Hospital was purchased by Universal Health Services, a hospital group based in Pennsylvania, earlier this week.
That's according to the Pahrump Valley Times.

The cost of the sale was not disclosed, but Universal Health Services is no stranger to Nevada medicine.
The group owns parts of hospitals throughout Las Vegas under the Valley Health System name, and runs the Northern Nevada Medical Center located in Sparks.
Universal bought Desert View from Rural Health Group.
