Two people died this weekend after diving and snorkeling in Lake Mead.
Lake Mead National Recreation officials received reports on Saturday that 48-year-old Fred Thomas Arnold, of Tampa Florida, had surfaced but was unconscious. The Clark County Medical Examiner said the cause of death is still pending.
Another victim was found Sunday after friends reported the 68-year-old woman had surfaced but was unconscious in the Overton Arm of the lake. The Clark County Coroner has yet to confirm the victim’s identity or cause of death.
