The latest figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board have come out, and July was a good month for the state's casinos.
Across Nevada, casinos took in over $1 billion in the so-called gaming win, which is up nearly 10 percent from July of last year.
In Clark County, the gaming win was up more than 10 percent, at over $867 million.
The Las Vegas Strip saw significant gains, with the gaming win up nearly 17 percent.
Downtown Las Vegas's gains were more muted at only a shade over 2.5 percent, while North Las Vegas, Laughlin and the Boulder Strip all saw losses.
The increase for Nevada's casinos led to a rosy picture for the state's coffers as well.
Nevada collected more than $68 million in fees for the month of August through this past Monday.
That was up nearly 20 percent from August 2015.
