Trump International, Culinary Union Settle Suit

Donald Trump's hotel in Las Vegas and Nevada's powerful Culinary Union have reached a settlement over claims of unfair labor practices involving two employees.

The agreement made public by the union Thursday awards Alma Zamarin $1,500 and Michael Campus $9,700.

The settlement means they both waive their rights to the reinstatement or transfer they had made an issue in the initial complaints.

Both workers had alleged in 2015 that they were retaliated against for supporting unionization at the off-Strip property owned by the Republican nominee for president.

The agreement admits no labor-law wrongdoing.

A Trump spokeswoman and the lawyers involved in the case couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
