Nevada Politicians Get DNC Speaking Spots

Three Nevada politicians have landed speaking slots at next week's Democratic National Convention.

Party leaders announced Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, congressional candidate Ruben Kihuen and state Sen. Pat Spearman would take the stage in Philadelphia, although it wasn't immediately clear which day they'd speak.

They join two other previously announced speakers from Nevada — immigration activist Astrid Silva and Karla Ortiz, who personally spoke with Hillary Clinton about fears that her family members would be deported.
