Firefighters are reporting 75 percent containment of a 2.5-square-mile wildfire that officials say may have been sparked by a vehicle on Interstate 80 in northeast Nevada.
Bureau of Land Management spokesman Chris Rose said Tuesday that no injuries are reported, no structures are threatened and the interstate remains open near the fire about 30 miles west of the Utah state line.
The fire was discovered Saturday afternoon next to the highway in open range near the community of Oasis and State Highway 233.

Rose says about 225 firefighters were aided by air tankers and helicopters fighting the fire in grass and pinyon juniper brush.
