A community walk on the Las Vegas Strip for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando drew thousands of people Monday night.
The Las Vegas Sun reports the "We Stand with Orlando" walk started just north of Spring Mountain Road in front of the Fashion Show mall and continued south down Las Vegas Boulevard to Harmon Avenue.
Volunteers gave water to participants as they walked through record-high temperatures. The mercury reached 115 degrees at mid-day.
