LAS VEGAS (AP) — The final two Nevada superdelegates who hadn't publicly committed to a Democratic candidate now say they're supporting Hillary Clinton for president.
Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Roberta Lange and vice chairman Chris Wicker said they were making their public commitment on Wednesday, a day after the primary season ended with a decisive Clinton win in Washington D.C.
Nevada has eight superdelegates who can choose whomever they'd like at the Democratic National Convention this summer. Five had previously committed to Clinton and one to Sanders.
Lange and Wicker held out because of their roles organizing Nevada's Democratic presidential nominating process.
The Associated Press has been surveying superdelegates for months and ruled last week that Clinton had enough on her side to win the nomination, counting pledged delegates from primaries and caucuses.
