Truckee Meadows Community College has a new president now.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reported Karin Hilgersom was officially hired Monday and she’s prepared to start July 1 st.
The paper added Hilgersom might work to start sports on campus, add more international students and collaborate with the University of Nevada, Reno.

Hilgersom was unanimously approved by the Nevada System of Higher Education, an elected board of 13 that oversees the state’s public colleges.
