Authorities say they have recovered the body of a teenager who apparently drowned in Lake Mead.
The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the teen went missing Sunday evening near Boulder Harbor. The National Park Service says the Lake Mead National Recreation Area Interagency Communication Center received an emergency call that a teenager had been under water for more than five minutes.
Las Vegas police search and rescue divers helped search for the body Sunday night. Lake Mead public relations specialist Chelsea Kennedy says the Clark County coroner was on the way to the scene Sunday night.
