Danny Tarkanian picked up a high profile endorsement today in his quest to be the Republican nominee in Nevada's third congressional district race.
Grover Norquist, who is known for encouraging Republicans to pledge to never raise taxes, backed Tarkanian today in a statement.
Norquist went on to criticize state Sen. Michael Roberson, who is also running in the primary election, for voting to approve the commerce tax for education backed by Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval.

It's an open primary for Republicans in that district, as incumbent Rep. Joe Heck is leaving office to run for retiring Sen. Harry Reid's seat.
